Internet Wagering

[ English ]

Recently, the governing body has been talking about banning online wagering in the States. While this isn’t very likely to take place, Congress will certainly try to levy a tax on the industry. This is causing most organizations to close their operations or to move them offshore. Just because the administration has pushed its moral ideas onto the US Public, is certainly no reason that the public should give up their right to the "pursuit of happiness".

A lot of folks enjoy the online bingo games. Lately a woman won the "Queen of Bingo" contest from one of the websites. She won ten thousand dollars and world wide recognition for her achievement.

Millions and millions of people bet at brick and mortar casinos and different locations. Why should online gaming be pointed out? Even churches rely on bingo to bring in $$$$ and they are tax exempt.

Perhaps we should remind congress that they are there for us, not the other way around. Remind them that the "Constitution" has not been repealed.
